Imagine somebody who works for you has a good idea, what happens?
Do you add it to the pile of other good ideas for a development team to implement, someday?
Do you ask for further analysis and a cost benefit justification?
Do you ask them to get the 10 necessary signatures so that it can be implemented?
Or do you say “that is a good idea” and give the individual the support to run with it.
How do you and your organisation manage good ideas?
I am guessing the answer is a good predictor or the number of good ideas you get.
